Mycenae Gardens, including the Woodlands Dell, are a precious green space at the centre of Westcombe Park conservation area.

Mycenae Gardens are a wonderful space for

  • peace and quiet relaxation
  • enjoying family activities in safety
  • exercising pets responsibly
  • exploring and exercising by foot
  • enjoying natural surroundings
  • watching and studying the wildlife that spreads out to the surrounding area
  • the community to meet in social events.

The group ‘Friends of Mycenae Gardens’ has been established to

  • bring together people who value these gardens
  • protect and promote the gardens as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation
  • foster the natural environment, wildlife, woodland and open space for the benefit and well-being of the whole community
  • work with the Royal Borough of Greenwich to ensure the space is maintained in ways that appeal to all users.

To help sustain the gardens and protect the trees, plants and wildlife, and to provide a haven for the community, we ask you to respect the following: No fires or barbecues; No amplified or loud music; Please take your litter home or use 
the bins provided; No cycling; No climbing trees or walls; Be courteous and respect all users
 of the gardens and the needs of 
others for peace and quiet; Please respect pathways, fencing
 and other conservation measures; Respect trees, plants and wildlife; Dogs must be kept under control at all times. Please clean up after 
 your dog and place dog waste in 
the dog bins provided; Any organised use of the gardens is subject to licence from the 
Royal Borough of Greenwich
